Electraline
An interactive urban design solution that simplifies the charging experience
The Electraline is a smart urban furniture that informs our users in real time about the availability of charging points and the estimated time of charge, providing a seamless, functional and connected experience physically and on their phone.
It ismade from responsibly sourced wood, sleek aluminum, and integrated LED panels, and the optional solar-equipped canopy further expands energy efficiency, making it a future-proof and sustainable public infrastructure solution.
The digital experience
Before charging
From booking a charging point to the end of the session. Its design allows it to be spotted and recognized from afar, indicating the status of spots (available, booked, etc.), prices, and power. During booking, the reserved spot is displayed, along with the user’s first name if desired to conveying feeling of belonging and exclusiveness.
During charging
After connecting the plug and starting the charge, the station displays real-time progress through a progress bar, visible from both up close and at a distance. Speakers integrated into the Electraline guide users, providing feedback on their actions during the charging process: preparation, start, and end of the session.
Delight
The opportunity from these screen is immense.
We’re starting with creating a game : the beloved and timeless "Rock-Paper-Scissors" game that users can play alone or with others.

Designing for any space, without compromise
Faced with various constraints—local regulations, permits, limited space, and resources—we had to develop a more compact version of the initial concept.
One key requirement was to reuse our existing structure, the Electrapole, which is already present at all stations, without losing what made the concept unique.
Embracing constraints
Embracing the constraints of the LED screens was key to delivering the same quality of user experience—maintaining both clarity and delight—even in a much more compact format.
With a compact canvas, creativity became our best tool.
